Hi John, I just wanted to share with you that my son Eric has achieved his goal and made his competitive team. After getting cut the past two attempts, he is absolutely pumped to be a part of the team. Coaches mentioned the jump in his progress from last year, especially in his skating ability, and the only thing that changed was our our choice to attend your clinics. He had such a blast and appreciates his hard work and practice paying off. He is more driven then ever and is already asking to participate in your camp next summer. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication, it is making a difference! All the best, see you next summer.

Spring hockey tournament team program to help further develop players once their winter team season is complete. South Coast Generals is a spring hockey program which allows players the opportunity to develop their hockey skills, game strategies, and athletic training beyond the regular season. The program focuses on aspects of the game that are not always achievable in the regular season. We provide both on and off ice training for our players. We also focus on each player individually to make sure that by the end of the program they have advanced in their overall game.

Our team plays in multiple spring tournaments which are not used to measure the team’s success but rather as a building tool to develop the team and individual player’s hockey skills. We also focus on the aspect of keeping the game of hockey fun, challenging, and rewarding for our athlete. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing a smile on a young athlete’s face because of the satisfaction they have of knowing that they have become a better player and have had fun doing it!!

It has been a few years in the hockey development industry, and it has been great. We enjoy all the new players, coaches, and parents that we meet and love seeing them smile after a great session.

Teaching players our methods and making it fun has been our strength in the hockey development industry.

We have learned that creating a high quality, high intensity, exciting and fun program for players is the key. Changing each lesson to fit the needs of each group to encourage player growth and development. We constantly encourage and challenge each player to strive to be a better individual and build self-confidence.

We believe in building relationships with our students, coaches, and parents. Building these relationships with our students is what we excel at. Creating a fun environment for the students to help player growth is key. We are constantly growing, learning, and educating ourselves on new techniques and skills within the hockey industry.

We offer full-day camps, hour sessions, team development sessions, tryouts, private & semi-private lessons.

We look forward to hearing from you and begin on building a relationship.

Everything in life evolves, and the game of hockey is no different. The game is faster, more skilled, and more exciting than ever before. And the world of hockey development is no different. When the game evolves, the way that we prepare and train must also evolve.

At Progressive Hockey Development (PHD), our goal is to continue to evolve and to give the tools to our athletes who want to keep working towards their long-term goals. PHD is pleased to announce a new form of Hockey Development, Ellis Hockey Detail, which is a new series of highly-detailed elite camps designed specifically for players who want to get the most out of their time on the ice. Each skater will be run through a series of drills that are currently used to teach players on the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Marlies. Ellis Hockey Detail will offer high-end, high-detail training to elite level hockey players playing AAA level hockey, or for those wishing to make the jump to AAA hockey.

“In my time teaching camps all over the world, the one thing I found is that there are a certain number of players who want more … more detail, more attention, more development,” said Mike Ellis, PHD Founder and Head Instructor. “I have a passion for teaching hockey to all ages and skill levels, and this new venture gives another group a place to learn and push themselves to their limits – and beyond.”

Over the last few years, camps have been held for this type of learning in Toronto, Detroit, Nova Scotia, Edmonton, and in Europe, to name a few locales. Now, there are a lot of people in this region demanding it as well. The first such camp is slated for March 31-April 2 in Komoka.

“The athletes will get the information, training, and detail in three days – the same amount that they would over a 10-week program,” said Ellis. “PHD will introduce a new video platform so that players can see their daily repetitions almost immediately after their day on the ice has completed. The video component is so vital for developing and perfecting each movement. This way the player can see what they have worked on and how it can impact their game.  All players and goalies will receive a complete video breakdown so that they can continue to reference and use the information provided from us.”

PHD will continue to operate and work with its athletes and will work for hand in hand with Ellis Hockey Detail to provide the best teaching environment to hockey players of all ages and levels.

Treadmill & On-Ice

Rapid Hockey Development is a privately owned full-service hockey enterprise. RHD provides programs for players of all ages, from 5-year old beginners to Junior and NCAA D1 players. Our “Skills First” approach has turned us into Montreal’s leader in player development over the past 25 years.

Our summer hockey school, with our home base in Cote St Luc, Quebec, is any hockey player’s top destination. From our Stars program (ages 5-8) to our Elite Hockey Training program, RHD is a one-stop shop for hockey development. From our on-ice development to our hockey specific studio gym, to the outdoor rink and shooting pads, we have everything you need to bring your game to the next level.

The recognition we received as a quality hockey school opened doors that led us to become technical staff for various organizations, creating and developing programs for both players and coaches. Again, our “Skills First” approach has allowed our teams to distinguish themselves through the skill level of our players and the numerous championships our teams win every season at the regional and provincial levels. More importantly the continuous growth of our players allow them to make the jump to the next level.

Our belief that players combine hockey and academics has made us Quebec’s premier U.S placement program. Are participation in various exposure tournaments in the Northeast, most notably, the CHOWDER CUP SHOWCASE in the Boston area, has given our players the opportunity to play in front of many U.S Prep and NCAA schools and coaches. We are proud to say that our exposure teams have placed over 100 kids in prep schools, 35+ to NCAA D1 programs, 30+ to NCAA D3 schools, including 5 N.H.L draft picks.

Rapid Hockey Development truly is a family’s one-stop shop for hockey. Combining our on and off ice training with our years of experience as family advisors, we can make the difference in reaching the next level and finding the right fit. If you still haven’t made RHD your developmental provider, now is the time.

To be the leader in advancement and development opportunities for amateur hockey players.  Since 2006, Five Hole Hockey has helped players develop their skills and use the game to advance themselves in life both on and off the ice.

A Tradition of Excellence:

For over a decade, Five Hole Hockey has been helping amateur hockey players succeed on and off the ice.  Our programs are small and personable.  Our core values are quality, professionalism, and success.  Since 2006 we have delivered these values to over 1,000 participants at every level of amateur hockey in the U.S.  We invite you to to be a part of that tradition.
